last weekend i joined Carson as his most reliable platonic date-friend for our friend Mike's wedding to his charming Lauren in St. Augustine, Florida. Lovely time, but i hate me some Florida; mostly it's their particular breed of laboratory created white trash and the over abundance of sun making a mess of my porcelain (though blemished!) skin. We got into town, got a hotel room and then headed to an A-frame beach house where wedding people were staying...on the beach!!!
spent most of the next day sleeping until we went to the rehearsal dinner...
then called it a night.
next day was wedding day and mother nature wasn't being very cooperative.
glued to the t.v. to see if the wedding was going to operate on the back-up, indoor plan.
opportune time to paint nails and talk/fall in love with melissa.
mother nature was kind, and the wedding was on the beach as planned. everyone headed back to the houses on the beach to get ready. here's the happy couple showing up...
and where they were to wed.
more drinks going down beforehand.

ladies making their way through the yard for picture time.
a few pictures before the big event...
short and sweet (and beautiful) ceremony.
and sealing the deal. crying at this point.
everyone was asked to take a shell from the flower girl,
and chuck it into the ocean.
reception traditions. danced to built to spill but you couldn't really hear it.
sat with Team Cute again.
no knives for the beef brisket bring out the savage side of Bryan.
we made off with 6 magnums of wine.
and things got nuts...

these two can make me laugh like no others.
i fell and dislocated my knee (life long issue) but was too happy dancing to Elastica and Boston with Carson to really give a turd.
