Sagittarius, here are four different angles on your long-term destiny: my forecasts for you in 2011.
PART 1
The United Nations has declared that 2011 will be the International Year of Chemistry -- a time to honor the role chemistry plays in our lives. Meanwhile, you Sagittarians will be celebrating your own personal Year of Chemistry, although in a different sense of the word -- the sense that means natural attraction, spontaneous connection, intuitive allure, and uncanny synchronicity. Don't let this abundance of grace make you overconfident, and don't just sit back and let it run wild. Be a master chemist intent on rigorously cultivating the very best experiments.

"When I became a man I put away childish things," said Sagittarian author C.S. Lewis, "including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." I suggest you take up that attitude yourself in 2011, Sagittarius. One of your top assignments in the coming months will be to play with greater intensity and more frequency and a heightened imagination. If you want to achieve your adult goals, you'll be wise to recreate your childhood wisdom on a higher octave.

Are you as susceptible now to having your world turned upside-down by flash floods of emotion as you were at age 15? Over the years, haven't you acquired wisdom about your reactive tendencies, and hasn't that transformed them? I disagree with Thoreau. I say that for the person who wants to cultivate emotional intelligence, the heart sure as hell better be capable of gaining experience. What do you think, Sagittarius? If you're aligned with my view, 2011 will educate and ripen your heart as never before.

I can almost categorically guarantee that in 2011 you will have no encounters with fire demons, wart-ridden vampires, two-headed dogs, moaning ghosts, wayward werewolves, or extraterrestrial robots. Nope. You can pretty much go ahead and make plans based on the assumption that you won't have to account for intrusions like that. But I can also assure you that the lack of crazy encounters with unhinged monsters does not mean your life will suffer from blahs or boredom. On the contrary: I think this could be one of your most interesting years in a decade. To prepare yourself, make sure you don't unconsciously equate adventure with chaos; imagine what it would be like to experience mystery and intrigue that uplift you.

survival and the animal in man (and sometimes the hidden woman in a man)
i'm made aware of many things lately. some days i know these things to be pure observations and the consequences of having eyes that open and flesh that reacts and with this, my day will continue just like the last and tomorrow's much like today (the world will still blindly rotate and i will survive as i will myself to do). other days i play victim to these acknowledgements; the merciless world is out to get me (and everyone) and i'm (we are) forced into a framework of constant struggle, wondering how to survive when your umbilical winds and stops at a life force that's spoiled. and then i watch videos of Pete Burns and everything makes sense.
"yeah but i'm a survivor, everyone is potentially a survivor it's just they give up far too easily. a survivor can get tired, let them sleep, get back up and survive. but, there's really no reason for anything to break anybody ever. that's a choice to let things break you."

-my 50's kitchen table that's somehow become my sewing table
