at work last week and so tired of listening the the uninspiring drone of machines that i turned on npr and luckily caught a feature on a brilliant dandy named Sebastain Horsely. i'm easily lost in absurdity and nonsense, as i think most folks with deathgrip on reality can easily get lost in, and this gem of a "man" is like mayor to our playland whose campaign slogan went something like, "The only way of tolerating existence is to lose oneself in a perpetual orgy of absurdity". you don't say?
he has a memoir (bible?) out and i hope to get it ASAP. here's the feature from npr.org:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=88685073coincidentally, my partner in soft crime is in londontown and i hope he catches a dandy by his coattails and brings him back for me! doubtful, so i'm making a tape for his approaching birthday called "Dandy in a Casket" since all i've been listening to is a cocktail of 4ad bands, bauhaus-realated jams and songs i won't hear at neo anymore since they've gone the way of the trixie with a "freaky" spanking fetish (yawnz).
