if this last one isn't the epitome of "adult alternative" i don't know what is. up there with the fucking Call or something. my youth was so backwards in that music that i loved was relevant to folks 10+ years my senior and "youthful" music which i appreciated/lived/enjoyed, obviously, was met with a shaking head like "oh you silly little kids...". somehow approaching 30 and it's all of equal importance now.
